Staying top of mind with former clients! How helpful should you be?

Jimmy Newson & I had a conversation about being helpful & staying top of mind. Here’s what Jimmy had to say about that:

I spend more time writing I never thought I would be a writer, but I feel like one you know, but I have templates that I use they’re kind of loose and I’ll probably fine-tune them a bit, because as we’re starting to grow I need to pass the torch in certain areas but you know there are certain things that have to exist for every event that I create and not necessarily from myself, but also when I’m now interacting with others so we we present a professional structure and we build trust you know because we’re asking experts to trust us with their brand you know and they also and they want to know what what is it what do. Why are we doing this? What’s in it for me? How do we make money? How do we do this? How do we do that and we need to have the answers to those questions. At least start to determine that we do need those answers. If we don’t have them off the back so creating structure around all this stuff and then again you know like you said yeah if he doesn’t want to talk goals then maybe the numbers assume he already has them so tell me what they are and if he doesn’t can’t tell you then yeah without a doubt I’ve grown smart enough and I’m in a position now where I can actually start saying no to people who don’t check off all those boxes I need to start a relationship with you especially one that is very integrated you know that requires a lot of my time as well as a lot of your time.
